Activities

Parkview has an Activities Co-ordinator who arranges a wide variety of events to entertain, stimulate and motivate our residents.

Quizzes, craft sessions, sing-alongs, music exercises and reminiscence discussions are amongst the regular favourites.

Professional entertainers visit Parkview on a regular basis and put on a variety show that is enjoyed by all.

We arrange outings to the park and further a field for those who are sufficiently mobile.

Residents are encouraged to join in all activities according to their own preferences and their wishes are always respected.

Christmas Party 2015

Parkview Nursing Home celebrated Christmas 2015 on Friday, 4th December, with some very special guests!

Residents, family, friends, and the staff of the home were joined by the Mayor of Croydon, Cllr Patricia Hay-Justice, who came to visit the residents and with them a very Happy Christmas.

The Mayor chatted with the residents who had come together in the lounges for a Christmas get together with their family and friends.

They also had some entertainment, with a special Christmas sing-a-long. 

Father Christmas also paid the home a special early visit with presents for all of the residents. 

After that, they were able to tuck into a traditional Christmas dinner with all of the trimmings.
