Woodlands Nursing Home has been serving the community since 1992 within the same family business.

Woodlands is situated in a quiet residential area, yet conveniently located close to the Ilford Town Centre. It is one of the multi-cultural care homes in Ilford specialising in the dietary needs for Hindus, Muslims, South Indians, Filipinos and Afro-Caribbeans.

We have multicultural staff who communicate in Gujatari, Hindi, Urdu and Swahili. We celebrate religious and cultural occassions of all the residents living in our homes.

Our care home has been extensively refurbished and extended and is furnished, decorated and equipped to a high standard.

Individual nursing care is based upon the changing needs of each resident and emphasis is placed upon a holistic approach to care planning.

All our residents are encouraged to maintain an optimum level of independence within their capabilities. Emotional and spiritual needs are respected.

You are sure of a warm welcome at Woodlands; the welfare and happiness of our residents, and the peace of mind of their families, is our greatest concern.

Our aim is to give those who live at Woodlands the best possible quality of life.

Residents are given choices about the way their care is provided. They are encouraged to express their preferences which are always respected.

Relatives and friends are welcome to visit at any time of the day.

Long or short stay residents are welcome.
